WARNING: LONG-ASS TUTORIAL IS LONG. XD
No, really. XD The entire file's like- 9.7 MB. And 30 MB as a .PSD. XD AL WENT OVERBOARD AGAIN LULZ. 8D
XD I've FINALLY made this. Gah, I've been wanting to do this for a LONG time. It's been on my studio wall for 2 weeks, screaming "AL, FINISH ME. FINISH ME NAO. D8<"
I explain EVERYTHING I can with this tutorial. Materials, light sources, what I think when I approach a piece, etc. Sub. means subtractive, the method I use for my charcoal pieces. The other method is additive, and I'll be doing that one later as well. XD
And many apologies in the change of light and tone. My camera started to bitch and gave me sucky pictures towards the end of the tutorial. XD I had to scan in the last result because the flash on my camera decided to say "YAY HURR HURR HURR IMMA SCREW EVERYTHING UP FER J00 LULZ. 8D"
IMAGEREADY YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. XDD The original size was HUGE as a .png. I fixed it by Saving for web, so the size got cut in half. XD Just click the Download button, and you're good to go. 83
